OK. First, let's take your blood pressure. But before I can do that, I'd like to wash my hands. May I use the sink in your kitchen?

MRS. FULCHER Oh, sure you may. It's right across the hall.

CARLOS I'll just need you to take one arm out of one sleeve of your sweater.

MRS. FULCHER Okay.

CARLOS I'll also be checking your heartbeat and your breathing. That is a pretty sweater.

MRS. FULCHER Oh, thank you. My granddaughter gave me this last Christmas.

CARLOS Need a hand with your sweater?

MRS. FULCHER Would you, please?

CARLOS I'll just take your right arm out of the sweater. That way it might be best for the blood pressure.

MRS. FULCHER Okay.

CARLOS How do you manage to get dressed for the day?

MRS. FULCHER Well, it takes me a little while. But I try and do it by myself. My daughter and my son-in-law are usually close by, and so my daughter, she'll set out my clothes that I want to wear. And if I have a problem, say like with a sweater, she's there to help me out.

CARLOS Okay, I can help you back on with that sweater if you like.

MRS. FULCHER Would you, please?

MRS. FULCHER I tell you, these buttondowns are so much better than the pullovers.

CARLOS There we go.

MRS. FULCHER You know, my granddaughter gave me this sweater.

CARLOS There we go. Now, if you'll give me a moment, I have to write a few things down.

MRS. FULCHER All right. Take your time.
