It's important to evaluate the patient's ability to obtain clothing from its usual storage area, wherever that might be in the living situation. For some this might be a chest of drawers, for others it's a shelf or closet, or others, on a nearby chair or in some portable storage unit. The importance is whether they have the ability to reach the clothing to put it on.
